WHYY Wider Horizons and
the Caring Community coalition hosted an all-day forum on the losses
and grief experienced by those living with Alzheimer's Disease.
In the afternoon, the Hospice Foundation of America's Eleventh Annual
Living with Grief Teleconference examined the grief experiences
of persons living with Alzheimer's and of the family. The entire
day was webcast live.

of America Eleventh Annual Living with Grief Teleconference
WHYY served as a host
site for the Hospice Foundation of America's Eleventh Annual satellite
teleconference. Hosted by Cokie Roberts, the teleconference described
the nature, course and care provided to those living with Alzheimer's
disease and defines grief issues experienced by families and helpful
strategies to assist the patient, family and professional caregiver.
